Neurodivergent StudentsCollege can be an exciting chapter, but it can also bring unique challenges. As academic demands increase, familiar routines shift, and the structured support systems students once relied on — parents, teachers, predictable environments — are no longer in place, pressure to adapt can feel overwhelming. And execution function (EF) skills like organization, time management, and follow-through become more essential. The result can lead emotional exhaustion, difficulty focusing or keeping up, EF challenges, shutdown, or burnout.
Coaching helps neurodivergent students navigate the academic demands with strategies tailored to their strengths. Many of my clients are neurodivergent learners, students with ADHD and/or ASD traits, OCD, anxiety, learning differences, unique processing styles, or heightened sensitivity. Coaching offers the strategic support, structure, guidance, and accountability to empower neurodivergent students to:
Develop effective systems for time management, prioritization, and task initiation
Create personalized organization strategies and study habits
Navigate accommodations and communicate effectively with professors
Build tools for emotional regulation and self-care
Stay on track with consistent support and accountability toward graduation
Understand and honor their strengths, values, and sensitivities
Build self-awareness and self-acceptance
Reduce stress and protect nervous system health
Create sensory-friendly routines, spaces, and schedules
Strengthen resilience and emotional well-being
Develop motivation and engagement through compassionate support
Together, we’ll build confidence and calm while addressing the challenges of college life — so students can not only succeed, but thrive.

The first year of college is filled with excitement, change, and challenges. Students are adjusting to life away from home, managing their own schedules, meeting new people, and learning to juggle academic responsibilities with independence. Even students who excelled in high school can feel overwhelmed by the transition.
College coaching supports first-year students as they navigate this major life shift. Whether you’re struggling to keep up, feeling homesick, unsure how to manage your time, or just trying to find your rhythm, coaching offers structure, encouragement, and tools that make the journey smoother.
Support may include:
Building effective study habits and academic routines
Learning how to prioritize, plan, and manage time
Navigating campus resources and forming new support networks
Developing emotional regulation and stress management skills
Creating personalized systems for staying organized and focused
Setting goals that reflect your values, interests, and long-term plans
Having a safe space to talk through challenges and build confidence
Your first year doesn’t have to feel like sink or swim. With the right support, it can be the start of something empowering. Let’s build a foundation that helps you thrive in college and beyond.

Being a student-athlete is both rewarding and demanding. Balancing academics, athletics, and social life requires energy, focus, and resilience. For many, it becomes overwhelming—especially when physical, emotional, and mental demands collide.
College coaching can provide student-athletes with the support, mentorship, and skill-building needed to navigate these pressures. As a former college athlete and coach, I understand the unique challenges and strengths of this experience. I bring specialized training and lived experience to help student-athletes succeed in school without sacrificing well-being or performance.
For neurodivergent athletes, coaching provides essential structure and strategies that respect both academic and athletic goals. This dual-focus approach helps students stay grounded and perform at their best.
Coaching may support student-athletes by helping them:
Build confidence and clarity in managing academics and athletics
Set and work toward goals for school, sport, and personal growth
Understand how ADHD, HSP traits, or other neurodivergence impact performance
Communicate effectively with coaches, professors, and teammates
Strengthen emotional regulation, study skills, and time management
Use campus resources and build meaningful support networks
Manage stress and avoid burnout
Create a trusted space for accountability and problem-solving
Participation in sports promotes physical and emotional health, self-esteem, and structure. But when the demands outweigh capacity, support matters. College coaching, especially from someone who truly understands, can be the difference between surviving and thriving.

Returning to campus after time away for treatment, medical needs, or personal challenges can feel overwhelming. I support students in re-establishing routines, balancing academic demands, and navigating the transition back to independence. Coaching offers a compassionate, structured space to regain momentum and thrive in this next chapter.
